Use a Headset Mic (or what is known as a Boom Mic)
 | A Headset Mic is pointed toward your mouth and therefore it has a
much less probability of picking up sound coming from the speaker
which causes feedback. |
|

Use only a Unidirectional Microphone
 | Unidirectional Microphones pick up sound primarily from one
direction. |
 | Omni directional Microphones pickup sound from all directions. |
|

Use a Wide Dispersion Speaker
 | Conventional Wall or Ceiling Mount Speakers do
not disperse the High Frequencies very well and you get a Hot Spot directly
in front of these type of speakers that is prone to feedback. |
